MÓN exists to create pioneering visual journalism concerned with environmental issues and human rights violations. The project was developed between Barcelona and Madrid to raise awareness about the environmental risks and problems that collectively implicate us as human beings.

With a local presence and international vision, MÓN aims to visually investigate the most pressing challenges facing our society such as climate change and the destruction of our environments whilst emphasizing the human impact of these phenomena.

We create our own projects to be sponsored by foundations, individuals, institutions, media outlets, and NGOs. Our projects are designed to work across visual mediums such as photography, video, data visualization, exhibitions, books, and new emerging visual formats. We set out to present these projects in ways that are accessible to the people at large.

MÓN’s founding members are Jaime de Lorenzo (visual journalist), Daniel Cole (visual journalist), Jordi Jon Pardo (visual journalist), Alberto Noguera (postproduction and editor), and Javier Cabedo (communications and producer).
