Collective exhibition in Berlin: Urban Challenges
A single ‘Door’ from ‘Árida’ series is being exhibited this February at B-Part Urban Challenges Exhibition in Berlin.
As the urban population is growing steadily, cities are increasingly facing new important challenges – let them be social, environmental or economical. Our urban experience keeps on transforming and new questions arise every day. How to share the space? How should we build? Is there enough space for sports, health and culture? Where do people work? What is the role of the public institutions? Which places are left for the communities? How to integrate the digital world and improve mobility? Which are the alternatives to the cars? How can cities become a responsible actor when climate change is concerned? Which sustainable options do we have? How to create connections? If the issues raised are numerous, they may as well open up new perspectives to enhance the quality of life of citizens. This topic has been explored in many different ways by artists who responded to PEP’s open call. This exhibition will show the results of the selected photographers.
