Why we're asking

No ads, no big sponsor. Every project comes out of archive hours, field trips, and work nobody pays for until it already exists.

long story.

We care about three things (memory, territory, the environment) that are really one thing if you look from far enough. A wrecked landscape is usually a story about who lived there. We go where the documenting is slow and expensive: scattered archives, towns that aren't on the map anymore, places that change faster than anyone bothers to record.

That independence is the whole point, and it has a price: the projects that matter to us are almost never the ones someone else would commission. Your help is what lets us chase them anyway. There are prints in it for you too.
