Tampere. Home of Tolerance.
A series of four short documentaries by Daniel Cole and Jaime de Lorenzo, produced in collaboration with Visit Tampere.
Finnish society is regarded, from the outside, as a sanctuary — a place where new lives can be built without the noise that elsewhere accompanies arrival.
In collaboration with Visit Tampere, MÓN set out to film four people who have made Finland's second-largest city their home.
The films are not a survey. They do not stand in for the wider debates around migration to the Nordic countries. They record, with care, what it sounds like when one person describes how a place came to mean home.
Begin with any of the four.
